I know it sounds stupid...

...but the only reason I cleaned the house today was so I could burn pumpkin spice candles.

They are my favorite. That and melon. It is weird, cause I think when I am cleaning, is the only time I do burn candles.

LOL I burn candles all the time I have a heckuva smell detector and cannot stand when things smell off.
Good as any reason to clean, though... around here it is usually bribery, but whatever works is good.

Add a pumpkin spice latte, and you're in business. And I TOTALLY wasn't offended by your snob reference. I almost added a post to clarify my snobbery. Because I am one. A nice one. A not-snobby-in-other-areas-of-my-life snob. I'm sure you understand. I'm so glad you stopped by! Yay, blog world!

That's so not stupid. I do the same thing. Nice clean house then light the candles.

Who lights candles in a messy house?

Ever seen any pecan caramel candles? They.Smell.AWESOME!!

Congrats on winning the amazon certificate :)

Heck...I'll not only burn them...but I'll give you the dang things if you'll clean my house lol. Hey...maybe I should start hiding chocolate around my house...that might give me the urge to clean!

Hi -- Love your blog! Just found this particular post...and like everyone else, I also clean the house so I can burn my spicy candles, ones that often smell like food or baked treats. :-)

Look forward to reading more of your writing!

It is something how having the house all clean makes burning candles nicer, isn't it. I'm the same way.....
