I have a distinct memory as a child...

... trick-or-treating in my neighborhood. I remember going to a house where two middle aged women answered the door giggling. Through fits of laughter, they explained that they didn't have candy because they ate it all while watching a movie. As I was walking away, I could still hear the "Sorry, kids!" through muffled giggling. I thought those ladies were absolutely crazy... I don't now.

Steph! Can you ask April if I can have her email so I can invite her to my blog? I decided to make it who I invite only. Please let me know, thanks! :)

LOL too funny. I can see how that might be feasible that they sat watching a movie and mindlessly munching since I do that myself. Poor kids, though, you had to have thought they had lost it totally. ;)

If I ate all the candy I had bought, I would have a serious tummy ache. {Oh yeah...I had bought a bag of junior mints that didn't make it to halloween night...oops!I knew I shouldn't have opened them.}

Funny memory!

Sheesh, the least they could've done was turn off the porch light instead of laughing at you kiddies. Funny. :)

HILARIOUS! i was with my sisters kids and they do the whole Halloween Witch thing. so the kids went to bed after they turned in their candy to beput out for the witch and be replaced with a present.

ummm yeah we totally ate the good stuff and passed the rest out to the late night trick or treaters. they were knocking on the door until almost 11pm...weird.
