I had a coat very similar to this one when I was Kaitlin's age!! How annoying this must be, I say stand your ground and dress her the way you want, she is yours. Or maybe let her pick and tell the other people "sorry she choose to wear this new coat instead".

haha I have one just like that except it is NEON yellow, NEON orange, and NEON pink. Know what's worse than regular pink?? NEON PINK. Yeah, I think the 80s/early 90s were someone's idea of a really sick fashion joke.
